Sheng Yuan SY670: Duck and Mouse Superhero Minifigs Review

First previewed here!

Cute or wtf? Hahaha

Let's start with Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Thor. I'll just be referring to their superhero names; not the duck names anymore..
These are their accessories.

Closer look at Spider-Man's inflatable.

Now for the figs themselves, they're great to be honest, in terms of quality. For design, well it's up to preference.. Although their torsos are more or less the same as their normal counterparts.

Something bad about Spider-Man though is that the paint/print kinda fades on the eye-beak part.

Nothing on the side although Thor does have a side waist accessory. Thor's magic belt? Lol.

Back prints.

The reason why Thor's cape seems so stiff is because it's only a one-holed cape. Why? I don't know.

Oh here's a better look at Thor's back print without the cape.

Wish Thor had a frog head instead to copy the Throg character who is real in the Marvel universe.

Now for these mice. Batman, Wolverine, and Captain America. Also, Hulk in a separate picture.
These are their accessories.

First thing's first, Captain comes with a classic shield, not the round one, and the scaled torso. It seems that SY is using the same torso and shield as the other Captain America they recently previewed. For Batman, it's really just Batman with short legs and a mouse head.
What I find funny with these mouse figs is how they still added logos/prints on the ears lol!

A look at the shield.

Back design. Why do they have leg holes? Well, SY short legs are actually movable and thus a bit taller.

Wolverine and Hulk. Laughing again at the X-Men 3 logo on Wolverine's ears.. Hahaha. Other than that, quality seems great. Again, design is preference lol. I mean, what's up with Hulk's purple nose?? Hahaha

Sides. Here you see better Wolverine's beard.. haha

Back view. Wolverine comes with swords surprisingly, and since he has short legs, the swords almost hit the floor. Just almost though, thanks to the somewhat longer, movable SY short legs.

Ohhhh Wolverine has a mask hooded down on print. It's also worth noting that Hulk doesn't have purple pants/legs and green ones instead, but I'm fine with it and I actually need green legs for an upcoming MOC.

Now for Deadpool aka Duckpool. Despite initial glimpse, he's different from the SDCC one and even the first SY released one. Here are his accessories though, identical to the first SY Duckpool.

Left is new SY Duckpool and right is the old one, that I actually also reviewed before. First difference: despite being an SY fig, the old one didn't come with movable short legs hence the shorter design [but more accurate to SDCC design]. Second obvious difference: color of legs. Both are good quality though except for...

.. like Spider-Man, the face print kinda fades into the beak.

Back view. They both come with sword packs, something the SDCC didn't have because I think, the short legs couple with long swords will start hitting the floor.

Back prints.

Also, they all came with Sheng Yuan branded baseplates.

Generally, the quality is great but the designs are pretty weird. I really only bought this set for the short legs for MOCs, Spider-Duck for my Spider-Verse, and of course so I could review it for you guys.

If you're after the SDCC Duckpool though, maybe it's better to get the first one released by SY because it seems to be more accurate. AngeloMarcus Greenhills was pretty early with that one!
